VTJS17_Fire Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Hi, I used the search but found nothing. Is there already a thread about my topic, please excuse. Q: Is it possible to mix different bomb types (HUD/ release modes) on the aircraft, MK-82 and MK-82 Snakeeye for example? If yes: How can I see, which weapon is selected? And is this possible for different bombs as well, MK-82 and Mk-20 for instance? feefifofum Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Nope, the Mk82s will always drop in CCRP, Snakeeyes always drop in CCIP. Technically you aren't supposed to carry more than one type of A-G ordnance at a time, anyway, per the manual. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC

baltic_dragon Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 While you can load different types of bombs, the onboard computer will have trouble and most probably won't work correctly if you mix the ordnance. Therefore you should have only one type of A/G bombs on the pylons. For more information, please visit my website. No, the mix of AG weapons, like different types of bombs or bombs and rockets, is not supported by the aircraft. You can load them but functionality is not guaranteed and totally random. This is a problem that comes with the real aircraft. 2. You cannot select release mode for bombs. They are automatically selected for you based on bomb type: MK-82s and all GBUs only use CCRP. MK-82S (Snakeyes), Cluster bombs and the BAP-100 use CCIP. Again, this is how the real aircraft works.
