Select role not working

As I join multiplayer I come to the "Select Role" Menu. I click on a role, but it doesn't spawn me in the plane, no matter how many times I click. Even going to different servers or selecting different roles doesn't work. I've even been trying the "Jump into selected plane" and "Respawn/get a new plane" binds, to no avail...

 

It even says in chat I've occupied a plane. Pressing escape and spectating for a while, then selecting a role again also doesn't seem to help. On the test flight missions where I need to select a role it works just fine, I click and spawn...

 

Am I missing something (other than a brain, maybe)??!

That should do I think, I clicked, used the Rshift+Rcontrol+Tab command and the Ralt+J command. 1st mission join is a time-out. Used the Havoc server but it is the same with any server.

Flaming Cliffs 3. Tried to load in the F-15, but also tried the Su-25T.

 

6gb Ram

Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @2.50GHz

64-bit processing, x64-bit controlsystem

Made by Samsung

Windows 10

 

On everything turned down I usually get a 30-ish FPS experience, it doesn't need to be high for me. I own a decently new laptop. It's not a powerhouse but it did just fine, I don't think this is hardware related.

can you make sure FC3 is installed by checking in your module manager.

 

also could you attach your autoupdate_log.txt from your install location

 

edit are you on steam or stand alone version?

there was definitely no Flaming Cliffs 3 Scripts loading.

Standalone, I re-installed the game 2 days ago due to crashes. I'll see if I can get the autolog tomorrow. FC3 is no doubt installed

Im using bullguard, I'll check it both there and in Windows Firewall, I'll also try running it in admin mode.

I've managed to "fix" the "bug". Turned out after asking alot on servers someone just told me I had to press the "briefing" button and press "fly"... :doh::noexpression:

 

Contrairy to singleplayer missions you actually have to press briefing... I've searched all around the internet and it came up nowhere...

 

I'm sorry for my utter idiocy and I'm sorry for wasting your time, you most likely had more important stuff to do.
