Hi,

The suggestion is quite simple: make FC3 cockpits clickable as in VR it can be quite hard to find the keys on the keyboard. I don't mean make it A-10C detailed just to make certain buttons clickable like flaps, gear, radio volume, lights etc. so what functionality is already there but on keys(no need for MFD in F-15) and I think most of the animations are already there.

Step 0 (fast solution) could be to add a GUI panel(toggleable) with tabs, buttons, sliders etc. to control these stuff.

I know it is not as easy as it sounds but I think most part of the work is already done.

That would be pretty cool. All the cockpits are already animated. I always wanted to

Push those damn buttons on my FC3 cockpits.

This thread will be better suited for the DCS Wishlist section.

Just curious. What planes do you guys fly in FC3. It's been ages since I even loaded up that module. Aren't most of the MiGs already available as standalone? (and F15, and A10C)?

The A-10A, Su-25A, F-15C, Su-27S are offered as standalone. Both MiG-29s and the Su-33 are not offered yet as standalone (I think because they have not been upgraded from SFM to PFM).

However, the 'standalone' versions are identical to the FC3 versions. The only reason to buy the standalone FC3 aircraft is if you only want 3 or less of them.

Ah. I thought the standalone MiGs (I know A10-A is the same) had PFMs.

A-10A, Su-25, Su-27, F-15 have AFM or PFM in both the stand-alone and FC3 versions. But that only refers to the flight model. They all have simplified systems modeling (avionics, etc.).

Why don't you map all the essentials to hotas? I have the thrustmaster flight x and have everything except radio function keys mapped. I use 2 keys as modifier keys and then that enables the 10 other keys to become 30 keys! Then I can map everything essential!
