M-61 Vulcan sound messed up

Hi guys, first sorry if this issue has been reported already.

 

After the last update, the M-61 Vulcan sounds like a revolver cannon (same sound of the Mirrage and Russian fighters) inside the cockpit. The external sounds normal at least.

 

I'm not using the HEAR LIKE IN HELMET option.

I think since this last update ;

 

- Su-27

- MiG-29

- MiG-21

- SA-342L

 

Guns all sound the same, haven't try the F-15 but from your post I guess it is the same.

They also have this weird click sort of sound once you stop firing. Not sure if it's realistic or not, but it's literally the same across all planes, and that i don't know about... (fighters, i do not believe the A-10 or Froggies have this issue, I didn't try in the Frog yet though, please correct me if I'm wrong)

Thanks for the info. It is fixed now in the trunk.

Su-27 and Mig-29 have GSh-30-1 cannon. Evrth is OK with them.

Mig-21 and SA-342L - third party's modules. They should fix it by replacing the default cannon sound with their own.

Hey btd, after two updates, the Vulcan sound still messed up inside the cockpit. Does anybody confirm that too?

Yep, still sounds the same as it was when it got broken. It sounds like the russian cannons instead of the M61 Vulcan. Like I've mentioned above, there seems to be a click whenever you stop firing. Maybe it's part of the russian cannons but since they're the same on the F-15, it would have that too.

I noticed that as well after the last patch. The first several times I heard it, I thought I had accidentally flown through my target's debris field or gotten shot by an unseen bandit. I really hate that ending click sound.

Yup, it's annoying. Like I said, maybe the Russian planes have that sound (realistic) but since they screwed up and replaced the Eagle's sound with the Russian sound, so now the Vulcan also has heavy cannon sound and the click lol.
