DarkFire Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 I can't get the engines to start, what am I doing wrong? I'm trying the very first training mission. I have external air connected. Battery power is on, both generators are connected as are the fuel pumps. I tell the ground crew to apply compressed air and I see the left engine RPM climb to about 15%. I hit the left engine start button and then R-shift-home to move the left throttle to idle. RPM stays at 15% for about 30 seconds then spools down again and the engine refuses to start. What am I doing wrong??? System Spec: Cooler Master Cosmos C700P Black Edition case. | AMD 5950X CPU | MSI RTX-3090 GPU | 32GB HyperX Predator PC4000 RAM | | TM Warthog stick & throttle | TrackIR 5 | Samsung 980 Pro NVMe 4 SSD 1TB (boot) | Samsung 870 QVO SSD 4TB (games) | Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Buzzles Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) Right-shift-home is right engine. You want right-alt-home :) Edit: Sniped! Edited July 22, 2016 by Buzzles Sniped Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
FZG_Immel Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 I think the training mission text is wrong. you must do first is RALT home for left engine and then RSHF home for right engine the training mission text has it crosaed [sIGPIC]https://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic70550_3.gif[/sIGPIC] Asus Z390-H - SSD M.2 EVO 970 - Intel I9 @5.0ghz - 32gb DDR4 4000 - EVGA 3090 - Cougar FSSB + Virpil WRBRD + Hornet Stick - Thrustmaster TPR Pedal + WinWing MIP + Orion + TO and CO pannels - Track IR5

DarkFire Posted July 22, 2016 Author Posted July 22, 2016 you do have the huffer cart on right? In the autostart the crew chief does this for both left and right engine starts. don't know if it's right, that's just what I saw. Yep, works fine now, the wrong key hint was the problem.
