Sokol1_br Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 (edited) Your best choice to find replacement is contact Thrustmaster support. The original model is CTS251B15F104B2NB Or contact CTS The case is that potentiometer for joystick has a exclusive electric travel (30~60 degrees), and you don't find then for buy in electronics shops (Digikey, Mouser). Always there's the option to do DIY HALL sensor assembly or buy MilesD read to use kits: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160613 Edit - find CTS 251 series datasheet: http://www.ctscorp.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Series-251.pdf CTS251B15F104B2NB Value is 100k (104) Effective electrical angle - the number 2 before NB - is not listed, probable between 40 and 60 degrees, made under order for Thrustmaster. CyStryker Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Potmeters Sir: I have two sets for the Cougar stick and one set for the TQS. I removed them to install Miles' magnetic sensors in one stick and one to install the UB2NXT by Ian Johnson out of Australia . Go with Miles' items they are worth the price. Roland
Sokol1_br Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 (edited) Are there another potmeters that i can use for it? instead of the Standard CTS? Problem #1 - find a pot with same axis length, diameter, D recess position, same case size (LxWxH). Problem #2 - find a pot with above characteristic with 40~60 degrees of electrical travel - normally find only in "joystick potentiometer". Possible source of suitable pot' - micro-stick PS3 like, need unsolder. Have you heard of... HALL sensor? :D Edited August 23, 2016 by Sokol1_br
Maverick_NL Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 Yeah i heard of the hall sensor, its to expansive, i found the right potmeter by mouser, thanks anyway.. MrMaverick Pilot in the RAZBAM Harrier DIsplay Team Mavericks Youtube: My Youtube Channel Discord: https://discord.gg/MRU8m5m
