ERBL/Info/Search ABRIS Functions

 

This video goes over a couple useful functions within ABRIS. I rolled all three of them into one video because in one way or the other they pretty much serve a common purpose. I covered the use of the "ERBL" Estimated Range and Bearing Line function, and searching for object using "search by List" and "Information using the ABRIS Cursor".

Thank you for the great thread it is very useful.

I have a question regarding route planning. I wonder how do you plan your route on the abris, the map on the abris does not look detailed enough to prepare a good flight plan via canyons/cities etc to stay hidden and also no altitude information for vnav.

Or do you use external map for planning and then just create the plan in the abris ?
