Rangi Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 The magnetic sensors cannot be 'cleaned' like a potentiometer but other things can go wrong like loose/pinched wiring or loose mount for sensor or magnet. Either way, open her up and have a look if there is anything obvious out of place. Good luck and let us know what you find in there. PC: 6600K @ 4.5 GHz, 12GB RAM, GTX 970, 32" 2K monitor.

Sokol1_br Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 X-52... Magnet???! You mean the X-52 Pro? No, X-52 "vanilla". The first commercial joystick to use HALL sensor in X, Y axis. http://file.walagata.com/w/bearcat/X52_Hall_Sensor_2_0.jpg http://file.walagata.com/w/bearcat/X-52_X-Y_sensor_details_0.jpg X-52 PRO use two HALL sensor per axis, to try improve the lack of linearity in axis reading in X-52 "vanilla" - supposedly due bad magnetic placement, as the "X-52 magnet MOD" improve this.
shagrat Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Ah, ok. The "Non-Contact technology"... majapahit Posted October 5, 2016 Author Posted October 5, 2016 SOLVED opened the Throttle (somewhat anxiously) found a lot of dirt (comes through the opening in between the throttles) and found a shaved and broken (2 places) ribbon wire, coming down one throttle lever (had been assembled incorrect, made the wrong kink) 2 drops of solder (why make it hard on yourself) hot glue to insulate and guide the wire relief | VR goggles | Autopilot panel | Headtracker | TM HOTAS | G920 HOTAS | MS FFB 2 | Throttle Quadrants | 8600K | GTX 1080 | 64GB RAM| Win 10 x64 | Voicerecognition | 50" UHD TV monitor | 40" 1080p TV monitor | 2x 24" 1080p side monitors | 24" 1080p touchscreen |
