Eastman Airfield Target (Nevada, Range 76)

Experts believe that Eastman Airfield Target (37°22′N 116°50′W) is a mock-up (copy) of an old and abandoned military base in Germany used by Luftwaffe (WWII) and later by Soviets (Cold War). True or not, aerial photography clearly shows the layout is indeed a mock-up of Soviet style airbase.

It would be very nice to replace currently low resolution textures with a soviet style airbase. I imagine there would be some work involved but with the move to 2.5 this should be just a matter, correct me if I am wrong, of adjusting textures I think.

 

So anyway, if this is not important for anyone at dev side that's fine, still though would be nice to include some better textures - even Google map view seems to be more detailed - and ensure we can place objects around this improved textures to create mock-up bases (targets) ourselves in ME. Currently if I place static object, it does not respect terrain elevation - actually, there is a post in Object Error section of bug reports for NTTR that I also added. :helpsmilie:
