The aircraft feels like they are on pogo sticks, the G1000 was implemented like their behinds, the virtual cockpit of some of the aircraft (mooney) is ugly as hell and frame rates on high end machines are not that great. TIR support was available 36 hours ago on Naturalpoint's site. It works, tried it myself! With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.

Cosmonaut Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I’m going to order “Microsoft Flight Simulator X (Deluxe Edition)” … it doesn’t cost that much more than the standard version and I’ve always purchased the Pro versions of M$FS. The FMs from the default aircraft have never been anything to write home about but third party stuff feels great as long as you don’t push the plane into high G or AOA maneuvers. Cozmo. AKULA_OPTIMUS Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I will NOT buy it, at last untill next year. I´m better with my Fs2004 and my addonns. Fsx will not be a good simulator at last for two years, when people make good addons for it. This new fs is programed with the ass, sorry but it´s what I think:smilewink: .

I just built a PC that can now finally play FS2004 on full detail with knobs on, don't think I want to try FSX in case I get a rude awakening :( Whenever a friend comes around and I show them some new bit of kit, like a TrackIR or joystick, they go cold if you show them a fighter plane or helicopter. But stick them in a Tiger Moth on the pan at Meigs, they instantly 'get-it'. Anyway, I tried to make a reasonably positive post about a Borg product (MS employees term, not mine). AKULA_OPTIMUS Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I said that it is progamed with the ass, beacuse you can´t run it on an high-end machine. Fsx WILL BE a great sim, but we have to wait one or two years to run it appropritely. Look at Fs9 now, when it was out, you can run it on a medium machine without problems, nowadays, you need a very powerfull machine to run it with the best addons. Imagine Fsx, what kind of computer will we need??. If you buy Fsx, you will have Fs9 with better water......noting more.:music_whistling: At last untill the new directX10 cards come out.......and windows vista.
