First off I'll say i love this campaign so far and I'm having a lot of fun with it.

 

For some reason on mission 6 all three of my wing men don't leave there parking spots, Ive tried going through all the atc radio commands and tried commanding them to rejoin formation, and fly to my steer point. I have switched to there aircraft in external views and I'm pretty sure there APU's are running but not either of there engines.

 

It's probably my fault, anyone else having this issue?

I'll take a look tomm, haven't heard of this issue before. I'll post as soon as I have more information.

Hey Guys, just Setup my Game and Hardware again to Play this Campaign but unfortunately I got this problem at mission 1. My wingman don't start there machines. Is there a workaround for this problem?

I know, maybe there is something I could do something with the editor without breaking the mission.

Ok

 

Made some progress, on the internal builds we were not able to reproduce.

 

So I removed the campaign using the module manager, from both my beta and release versions.

 

I then used the module manager to download it again making sure it was not being copied from a local source and the AI not starting issue is fixed for me.

 

I have no idea what is going on, but it is working for me again.

Still seems to be an issue on today's date in Mission 1. Really a bummer that I can't even get started in this campaign because of a bug.

as mentioned ED was unable to reproduce internally, even though I had seen the bug myself.

 

After trying the above it fixed it for me, let me know if it helps, if not I will take a closer look into it again

I have a fresh windows 10 install, fresh Dcs world install and fresh OPF install wingman still not starting....

Have you tried removing the campaign in the module manager and then installing it again?

Do me a favor, I tested without easy radio on, start mission 1, start auto startup (RWIN + HOME), turn AM radio to 134, let me know if the AI start up after your AC starts engines.

This happened to me 2 out of 3 times I tested Mission 1. Not clear what the relevant sequence of events are.

 

Startup for AI aircraft have changed over the last few patches, they use to have engines fully started at mission start, now they do not. I am testing with the newest patch to troubleshoot, I did get AI to start in Mission 01 and 06 with easy comms on and off with auto start by having my AM radio tuned to 134.000. Still testing....

If I do not use the radio at the start the AI will remain inactive.

 

If I use the radio and set the frequency they work as they should

 

I have added more notes to the bug report for ED to check again

Tried setting the radio first... AI flight did not start up and I couldn't radio to kutasi (they weren't on the list of available airports). Once I started to taxi in my first attempt the option to ask for takeoff clearance popped up for kutasi, then the AI flight started their engines but would not move from their parking area.

 

The second time I couldn't get the AI flight to even start their engines.

 

This is on mission 9.

Yep, on the most recent patch. I even tried setting the radio then using the auto-start... they just sat there.
