Require assistance please

Hello all, I was upgading from 1.5.4 to 1.5.5 and somehow ended the upgrade, how do I restart the upgrade?

Have rebooted comp as well as restarted game but just boots to 1.5.4 and does not try to upgrade .

 

This is on a windows 8 system

Go to your DCS folder, on the ''bin'' file, Left Shift + Right mouse click and choose ''open command window here''. In the command window you shall see :

 

''C:\PROGRAM FILES\EAGLE DYNAMICS\DCS WORLD\BIN>''

 

Right after the ''Bin>'', type this :

 

DCS_Updater.exe update

 

And press Enter. DCS will update to its latest version.

you should find a "repair DCS" entrie in your start menu, there also is a "update DCS" entrie there, i would start trying those.

Thank you, top option worked as I don't know how the start menu is to be accessed in Win-8 (Blahh)

Also after Bin should be \ not > but thanks for sure as it got me where I needed to be.
