DCS world any plans for Newer Jets? F-22, F35, F16, maybe a F-14?

From an outsider looking in and considering DCS world....why not a few more "newer" jets etc? Does ED have any pans to include newer aircraft?

 

Are they not as desired by you guys entrenched in the sim community?

nope, as dcs only does full fidelity modules now, any fith gen fighters are way to classified to make a sim of. That said we are getting an f14 a/b my letherneck soon (i think its leatherneck, don't quote me). otherwise, the most modern full fidelity sim we have atm is the mirage 2000-c by razbam.

As SixthFall said: Making modern fighter jets at DCS level is pretty difficult, because you need very detailed information/documentation that is not classified, contracts, licences, ...

 

The F-14 is beeing developed though.

ED is doing the F/A-18C

Leatherneck is doing the F-14B

F-22A, NOPE, An AI was mentioned somewhere

F-35, Nope, For A,B, or C

F-16, *Possibly*, But no updates have been posted on the F-16 Status in a long time, it was planned in 2008, but things may have changed

There is a new model in the works for the F-16 Eventually..
