Thadiun Okona Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 I see this guy's stuff on ebay all the time and wonder how accurate they are. If they are accurate, it may be worth picking one up to take molds from and turn into a usable grip or even using for high res scanning to model from. As is, they are static solid one-piece resin castings ('buttons' and all) that would pose many challenges to work from, but again might be worth it if they are actually accurate dimensionally.
RAZBAM_ELMO Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Or in debolestis' case, make an adapter and wire it into the TMWH.....I see what you're up to buddy. Sokol1_br Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Well, looks nice but expensive beer bottle opener. :D LOL, CH grips promoted to "A-10" grip. http://www.metalcraftbyblair.com/images/A-10%20stick%20%20as%20beer%20tap.jpg Not sure, but looks very Tm FCS: http://www.metalcraftbyblair.com/bmz_cache/9/99a1d2e5420bd7610e942485fda6b09a.image.350x511.jpg In the past this guys used to have more models, like several English 50's jet's, Mig-21 grips and a KG-13 B, but this copied from very bad done "replica". If the resin used is strong, the more simple grips can be modified, but in practice will be PITA hole then for wires, functional HAT's. I drill a Tail Boon (M.Terlizzi) KG-12B 1:1 resign kit, doable but hard to do.
Braeden108 Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 (edited) If these are made from real sticks I'll cut a bitch. Otherwise, good work, they look good. Actually why doesn't this guy make blanks or kits? I'd love to have a casting of many of these so I can turn them into functioning controllers. Sokol1_br Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 (edited) The guy use real sticks as mold and make resin copies. Well, CH Combatstick and Tm FCS are "real sticks" too. :) Edited November 26, 2016 by Sokol1_br

RAZBAM_ELMO Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Wonder if he'll sell just the grips. Or maybe even cut you a deal debolestis and get you measurements for an adapter. Sokol1_br Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 (edited) I think for people with DIY skill this 1:1 scale kit (~80$) can be converted in joystick grip, but will be need make another trigger and pinky pad (3D print, aluminum sheets...). The most difficult part is drill a ~1/2" hole inside grip for wires, and holes for buttons/HAT, the resin is strong, need use low speed to avoid drill overheat. http://www.hyperscale.com/2013/reviews/kits/eresinmiragestickreviewme_1.htm Edited November 27, 2016 by Sokol1_br
