Snacko Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 Is it possible for the creator of a User File to be notified of any comments on the file? Also, do users who have downloaded, or have commented on a User File get notified if their comment get's a reply? Or if the User File get's updated? I'm just curious because I noticed one of my mods was causing CTD and when I looked at the User File online it had several comments that I did not know about.. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted November 30, 2016 ED Team Posted November 30, 2016 I do not think so, you would have to check manually If it was me I would have a link to a forum thread for the mod so users can feedback. 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Rudel_chw Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 I do not think so, you would have to check manually That's very old fashioned .. why can't the User Files Comment code be modified to send an e-mail to the File owner whenever a new comment is posted? .. my Site profile already includes my e-mail address and a way to request such notifications, that such code could make use of: If it was me I would have a link to a forum thread for the mod so users can feedback. Yes, I do that for items like Missions and Templates, but having to do it for every file would be a bit much, for example for Skins or Device profiles or Documents ... an e-mail Notification would be so much better For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
