I hope ED can convert this great module into a Seafire so we can operate it from carriers.

I realise this won't be as simple as putting a hook on the spitfire but still the work would be considerably less than building a new module from scratch.

Seafires were involved in the Normandy landings and later operations in southern France.

Thoughts?

Carrier operations would be great with a Seafire, Sea Venom, Phantom, Buccaneer, Gannet, Sea Vixen, Swordfish, and of course HMS Ark Royal - both WW2 and 1970s varieties.

Do you think that's asking a bit much though? I don't mind waiting a couple of years :music_whistling:

The first Ark Royal was built in my home town, I remember looking for hours at the drafts-mans model at the local library. Its still there AFAIK if we need measurements for modders;)

Wish carrierops WWII - cold war, old birds - Vietnam - modern time. After reading the articles (thanks) about Seafire, I definitively want a Supermarine Seafire sometime.. (And for FleetArm as spoken for also Hawker Hurricane, Swordfish, and please a Gloster Gladiator)

On the map there is LN's Corsair wwII and Tomcat, ED's Hornet and Razbam's Harrier. Some with carriers. Then two carriers from ED. It is a bright future, but hate to wait.
