Mk. IX P11 compass and Directional Gyro use

For those not accustomed with the "left hand" P11 compass system, a good tutorial there:

- Note the total absence of Lubber Line in CloD compass. :mad:

 

BTW - For avoid that "jugglery": 'Red on Red', calibrate DG, then again and again...

learn read the Course Setter mirrored - explained above. ;)

 

For help I did this scale with real course in external scale, for use as reference.

 

 

E.g. P11 needle + point for 220, your real heading is 140, etc. ;)

 

BTW - Maiag Bf 109 DataLink for show instruments on Android device has option for CloD Spit,

but due complexity of P8 and small space on smartphone screen use a trick: show P8 course in DG,

so DG calibration is not need. :D
