H-J-P
I do not see anything that seems to be slow here. Neither DCS nor Ikarus. What is exactly slow, in your opinion? H-J-P
Well understood. The displays/monitors are too slow for you. I think the CDU also. Ikarus is just the recipient here. It is probably due to the scripting (* .lua files). Try this. File config.lua: ExportScript.Config.ExportInterval = 0.05 - export every 0.05 secounds ExportScript.Config.ExportLowTickInterval = 0.5 - export every 0.5 secounds Change the value for ExportScript.Config.ExportLowTickInterval to 0.05. Please report Raab. H-J-P
For me, the following values are optimal: ExportScript.Config.ExportInterval = 0.025 ExportScript.Config.ExportLowTickInterval = 0.05 Without fps change. Guppy
Like others I'm experiencing lag issues between DCS and IKARUS. Even with the following changes there is a significant amount of lag time between gauges in game and IKARUS. My performance in DCS is outstanding... however the lag that has been occuring in IKARUS is odd. I updated to the latest version and still no help (1.5.5.462). I've noticed that when I'm on the ground, powered up there is literally no lag between DCS and IKARUS. However, when I take off there becomes a significant amount of lag in IKARUS updating. This does not seem like it should be occurring - any thoughts? Here my refresh intervals: I've adjusted with like .001, too with no changes. H-J-P
@Guppy: There is no reason that things get worse at altitude. What happens to your fps? You should take a close look. I suspect that falls in height. That could affect. Please report. You should not overdo it with these parameters. That could have a negative impact. Who are the others? H-J-P
I'm not sure what I see there. Actually it works. Slightly delayed, but that's quite normal. Temporarily I see inputs, but no issues in Ikarus and the DCS module. If the behavior on the ground improves, then you should really look at the fps, frames per second. If you max out every thing in DCS, then it is possible that you kill your fps. Please look at that. How many monitors with which resolutions did you connect? Guppy
My Frames in DCS are fine 50-80. It's IKARUS that is having issues. and its the latency of pushing buttons and it responding appropriately. I'll take another video tonight showing you exactly what I mean between ground and air. I run 7 monitors 3440x1440; main, 4x 800x600, 2x 800x1280 My Simpit Progress and Update Learn how to build a SimPit like mine: Follow my Blog here! H-J-P
Nice video Guppy. I see your problem. Actually, it is not logical that you have a worse response at a higher fps. That should be the other way around. On the ground it works better with 50 fps than in the air with 80 fps. I do not have an idea yet. I'll take a closer look at the weekend. Maybe it helps to limit the fps to 60 fps. Because the monitors can not represent more. I've set it that way for me. More is actually wasting.
