But this is a separate problem from the one described in the post opening This was driving me nuts in the campain mission with radar :) I jettisoned my fuel tanks, so had to select RP at some point. Then after tanks were gone, it seems that "RP" stayed selected. Couldn't lock anything until I read your post. Than clicked on where RP should have been if they weren't jetissoned and voila - radar locks again. Thanks! Been searching the web for hours now trying find what I was doing wrong! So is this a bug or just bad deisgn? At leats I know now, this has happened several times and it was driving me mad!
