The other day y play a mission, we have to fly over some bases and see what they have. Well the mission have a bit of fog, and we were flying at 3.000 - 3.500 meters, and in the base seems to be empty.

 

We discovered that you have to fly under 2.000 - 2.500 meters to appears the static objects:

Is it really a bug?

Clipping setting?

 

I don´t use any addons, only Mercifon Base, and graphic options in medium.

 

My friends also don´t see anything.

Black hawk.... Do you know what slider affects static objects clipping?

OBJECTFOGMULITPLIER to 0

 

If u want to avoid this pop-ups in fog and lost of view cuz of toooo far range in fog ..just do this

 

LoGUI 1.3 tool graphcs.cfg(also manual possible) slider

 

OBJECTFOGMULITPLIER to 0 .... move it to max left

 

 

And see objects in fog are fading in realistic and are not poping up anymore...

How big is the FPS impact of your fix?

 

no difference....the only Fps Killers so far for me is Mirrors and high combinations in Scene and Visib Range .

But i prefer to use Visib range high and drop the "useless" scene to low.

(visib high and scene low, mirrors off , water med, shadow all planer ....rest on max and 1600x1200)

 

LandLodDistance Values and MFD (loCFG tool under views)

everything left 15000- everything right 35000

 

and in graphics.cfg manual

 

Precaching

and loGUI
