IonicRipper Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Each time I start a new mission some of the toggle switched on my Warthog throttle seem unresponsive. I have to toggle them back and forth to sort of wake them up. It only happens on switches I have to "switch down" like the flaps or fuel flow at first but if I leave a switch in the up position for some time when I come to flip it down again it doesnt respond until i toggle it twice. I have the "sync HOTAS on mission start" option enabled and also disabled the PC's ability to put USB ports to sleep in Windows configurations but the problem persists. I remember having this problem a while ago but either found a solution or it resolved itself because it didnt happen until I got a new PC and now the problem is back. Any suggestions? i5 4590 @ 3.77GHz | GTX 1060 6GB | 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 | 1TB HDD+500GB HDD | Win10 Home X64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

dburne Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Did you go into Device Manager, under USB - select the USB root hubs and disable power management for them - for all your USB devices? Also - do you use TARGET to run a profile? If so be aware once you launch the profile, it puts a new USB entry in device manager for the virtual device, and you need to do the same for it. ( only has to be done once for the virtual device). Deezle Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 This is simply a problem with DCS. It fails to recognize a switch in the on-state when the simulation starts, so it doesn't recognize when the switch is turned off, it's not until it sees a switch turned on that it will remember the state, and "synchronize HOTAS" is spotty at best and creates more problems for me than it solves. It will also forget the state of the switches in the middle of a flight if you pause the game and go to the control page.
