The Standalone ModelViewer refreshes liveries when Reload Model is used.

Yes, that might be, thanks, but what about the liveries dialog disappearing each time you close and restart the program or click in the main window?

Load Model > View > Dialogs > Liveries Dialog > Scale and move the window,

which pops up small in the middle EACH TIME you close and restart the program.

It used to be OK in older versions, e.g. DCS 1.5, 2.0.

Starting the program the liveries dialog would be left out of the way of the

main window, and the settings of the program were saved.

Now each time it resets to default or something like that.

And by the way none of the keyboard shortcuts is correct.

No, the Reload Model does not work! I tested it again right now just to make sure I was not making a fuss out of nothing. This is my main beef at the moment - and not to lower the priority on other issues specially FPS limit.

Thanks.

All of these Problems are solved in ModelViewer2.exe

- The Dialog Windows no longer save position/size/visible status

- FPS Limiters Don't work (in ModelViewer CFG Files or External Programs)

- CTRL+L for Liveries Dialog doesn't work

Everything reported except Re-Loading of Textures/Models.

However I have observed that the ModelViewer2.exe does not mount texture/liveries folders from the Autoexec.lua Correctly

So there are now two ModelViewer files exist under the bin directory, both are date-stamped September 3, 2018.

I have verified that the ModelViewer.exe still does NOT reload model from saved file properly. It must do it from cache and therefore does not show any changes made to the plane texture file.

The ModelViewer2.exe, however, does not even run properly. It gives the following error message:

"This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "windows" in "". Reinstalling the application may fix the problem."

It would be nice to receive some sort of notification if there were any changes made to the file so we can check them out.

Thanks,

Shahriar

For ModelViewer2.exe to work

Goto your /Bin/ Folder.

Create a New folder, name it "platforms"

Go back to your /Bin/ Folder, Copy QWindows.dll to the 'Platforms" Folder,

So: /bin/platforms/qwindows.dll

Launch ModelViewer2.exe

AS Stated, MV2 Does not Reload EDM or Textures either. Nor does it properly recognize VFS_Mounts, so Liveries must be in Mods/CoreMods for MV2 to see them.

Found a Solution

It's a little old this Issue, bit now we "I" found out that "Tools>>Reload Textures" does refresh the Textures. :pilotfly: Haven't found this mentioned in this Post, so for all after me.
