Why does the Viggen do NOT have Smoke generators or rather Smokewinders?

Makes me somewhat sad as an Aerobatic-Pilot.

System Specs:

Because it didn't have the avionics for it, so we won't get them, unless you have a vid or pic of the ajs 37 showing it has smokepods

Also it you can do aerobatics but it might is a bit harder to fly due to the 25 degrees aoa or somewhere around that, but that's up to the pilot

in which code? like avionics or just in the loadout code? that makes a difference, for example the spitfire...

I can't see them in the loadout code so i assume you saw them in the avionics code or something like this?

Anyway, i know they have no impact on gameplay, but i haven't seen any viggen with smokepods yet...

I didn't see them while checking the .lua's and such.

May not be an Aerobatic-Aircraft, but still, why not?

I edited the Loadout yesterday for the Viggen to have Smokepods, they are attached in-game, but you can't activate them, since the Action in the Controls is missing.

("Smoke" = "T")

Well, if you could bring it in at some point, atleast not "two weeks", that'd be great.

From the Sanders Smoke Technologies website, on the Smokewinder:

Operation

The Smokewinder® can be cycled on and off an unlimited number of times until the smoke oil is exhausted or it can be run continuously for approximately seven minutes. The power to operate and command smoke is accomplished with the existing trigger and electrical power available from the Sidewinder missile launching rail. A pulse from the pilot's trigger starts the smoke sequence and a second pulse stops the smoke. When the use of two Smokewinders, one on each wing tip, if desired, a Jumper wire in the fire control system can be easily installed to fire both Smokewinders at the same time.

So not only are no special avionics required, any aircraft which can fire a Sidewinder can easily be equipped to run air show smoke.

Well, the Viggen has the Aim-9 in their Weapon Codes.

Probably the Aim-9 was used for the Rb24, that's how I can read it out of the

That's correct. As far as I know, the license-built Swedish Sidewinders are pretty much identical to the American originals.

Perhaps this should be added as a gameplay concession? After all; we'd all enjoy seeing some AJS37 aerobatics, and it has minimal effect on gameplay?

I think you should add it.
