Once more...one single AI aircraft request

Hello guys and gals at ED and in the community.

 

I make this new thread for one request. I know I am no different from the fans who come up and suddenly say ..please add a uFO to the game...please add m bird to the game. I do understand ED has priorities etc. but..there is one jet that is seriously missed in terms of the "broad", "surreal" timeframe of LOMAC. It is the MIG-21.

 

Aphlatoon or someone earlier started making the model. but due to some reasons...he stopped working on it. I did quickly grab the files he posted in the thread before it got lost in the abyss.

 

Ed are implementing soo many things into this aging game....but I can't believe the MIG 21 is missing. There is a Su-17....but no MIG 21. It is the backbone of soo many airforces around the world. One of the most famous aircrafts ever. A2G, A2A ....u name it. It has been improved soo much. It would be sooooo useful in making realistic scenarios against aggresor nations.

 

 

This was the model he was working on. Search for his thread in the modelling forum or I can post the 21 mb file. it has all the research he did too....different insignia;s etc.

ED...if it makes the deal any sweeter....atleast do this for us.....USE a placeholder aircraft and just add the new slot...reasonable regular AI style systems to the mig 21...that are close enough. We the community will do the modelling and the skinning ourselves. This is just to make you do atleast the most important part...the proper integration of the plane in the game. I can even send the entire 21 MB file to you if you need to check it out.

I agree with the members. Recently, USAF has air exercises with Indian Air Force and its said that Mig-21's with BVR capability gave tough time to F-16s :music_whistling:
