philstyle Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Ok, that clears it up, thank you. I doubt I ever reached that altitude in the Spit, Whaaat! lol You're best fighting altitude in the spit is 23,000 to 28,000ft. It performs gloriously up there and you can even toe it well with the 109K at those altitudes - at least much better than down at 8,000ft or so. One problme is that the current online environment is dominated by low-level furballs (we've seen this before.. IL2 / CloD etc...). . . until we get some Bombers to intercept or some multiplayer mission designs that encourage/reward a bit more altitude in the flying. OnlyforDCS Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Whaaat! lol One problem is that the current online environment is dominated by low-level furballs Well....yeah. This. Ill try and stay high, the next time I fly online. However I doubt Ill attract much attention or see much action up there. razo+r Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 just go up in cons altitude and you'll atract some attention, more than nothing but still not much
Hammer1-1 Posted March 21, 2017 Author Posted March 21, 2017 So, according to you, the speed is not a parameter in aerial dogfighting. Ok. No, just saying its not too early to be discussing dogfighting tactics. Is that ok with you?
