When empty, Su-25T will be speeding beast. Add a light weapons load and you can be fast but need to ease little in the vertical turns.

Put a full weapon load (unrealistic) and it becomes a truck that barely stays in the air when in the turns.

Many does the mistake that they overload the aircrafts to be "ground pounders" instead simply do as in reality that you just add more aircrafts to the mission to get it done, instead overload the airframe and compromise it.

With a normal weapons load it is easy to fly over 700km/h and be fast and effective for quick attacks and extensions. And still ease on throttle and fly just 250-320km/h and have lots of time to aim and shoot like on the A-10, while circling around the targets.

There is difference to a Su-25A but not so much really if you don't load Vikhr missiles (ultimate drag generators).

Many thinks that Mach 0.8-0.9 is not enough, but flying low at 10-15m altitude that is more than enough for fast pop-ups after very easy controlled NOE flying in a SAM NEZ. Even Viggen can be shy about the Su-25A/T performance at low level (even when it is faster) considering what Su-25 can really do as well and withstand.

If Su-25 doesn't like to coperate when empty, something wrong is going on.

I rarely take off with more than half fuel unless I plan on using all 16 Vikhrs or flying long range. It really makes a difference in how the aircraft flies.

That being said, it's worth noting that the aircraft will never come close to the turn or acceleration performance of ANY fighter, even when nearly empty.

DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.

In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.

I think those airbrakes are just as they would be in real...LOOK AT THEM how tiny they are !

You cant expect to have a stop momentum like if you throw an anchor or raise the HUGE hood behind the cockpit of the SU-27.

I think you need more training and more understanding so that expectation and real-world dont have such a wide gap.

She manouvers good enough to fly 10-100m above ground through the vallies, up and down the mountains. YOu just have to know what she does not like, accept it and fly accordingly.

If you fly "against" the aircraft you will hardly ever have fun as you want something she will never deliver. Ask for what she can and you will be pleased.

I really like the SU-25T she way she is ;)
