fitness88 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 The cursor cross that we overlay on the switches to be changed in the cockpit goes from the normal blue/green cross to a yellow ball after 20 minutes or so. Also there is a yellow square that is present as well. Anyone figure out how to prevent this...see HUD? Thank you. Screen_170425_014618.jpg
shagrat Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Like Dehuman said. What you see is a placeholder texture, if textures are not available or broken. This is often caused by texture mods or deinstallation if these mods that introduce similar named textures into the virtual file system. Deinstall all mods, skins, etc. do a DCS repair and reinstall the mods, one by one. So you will see which one causes trouble. Screen_170425_014618.jpg This does not seem to be a M-2000C bug, unless you are using a modified HUD symbols texture. S D Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 (edited) Yeah this is definatly not isolated to the Mirage, have had it in the past during longer sessions. Not connected to mods either. Edited May 2, 2017 by Shadow.D.
Gruman Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Happnens to me sometimes as well (in Rift CV1). Read about similiar reports (linked to the Rift) and many pointed out Windows 10 Scaling could increase the chance this issue. If you running a screen (Example 4k) then try to lower scaling to 100%. I didnt try this "Fix" it yet, since Im not running any scaling. Most of the time when this happens, I just endure it or restart the game. NeilWillis Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Happens in all versions of Windows. I find it only rears it's ugly head after a couple of hours in the simulation. It seems to lose the path to the crosshairs. I don't think it is a texture issue here.
Zeus67 Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Yeah this is definatly not isolated to the Mirage, have had it in the past during longer sessions. Not connected to mods either. Then it is a DCS bug. I'll talk to ED. "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots.
