JazonXD
Just jumped on right now, and noticed horrible performance, I opened MSI Afterburner and noticed that my GPU was sitting at idle speeds while it was being fully utilized at 100% utilization. I have a feeling this is due to the Creator's update. Can anyone please help? epolta
check and make sure your video card is set to "prefer maximum performance" - The creators update reset my Nvidia control panel to "prefer power saving". It also reset my vibrancy settings to default. Not sure why microsoft feels the need to mess with my video settings but they did.

humptydumpty
I have noticed this too and need a reboot, even Xplane 10 and 11 stops using the GPU and it's horrid performance, the other performance hitter is the water in DCS. JazonXD
Okay so I've done some searching around, I've disabled "game mode", tweaked my nvidia settings and rebooted, and it worked, the GPU is being worked like normal now and it's damn buttery smooth. BUT. When I load up a mission, for the first I'd say 5 mins of play, there's this on-off stuttering issue that makes it looks like i'm playing slideshows. Yet interestingly, MSI afterburner still says that I'm getting 90+ fps, which means that it's a frametime stuttering, not necessarily low frames per second. I'm not sure if that's caused by the new 1.5 update or Creator's update. epolta
My performance is OK, but I hit Alt Enter to go full screen in VR and notice it constantly jumps back out of full screen to windowed mode. I should have never updated..... stupid idea.

I should have never updated..... stupid idea. I've noticed that in VR too. Odd. I've also noticed it using way more memory since the update.
