I'm just wondering if anyone at ED considered allowing aircraft to be demoed before purchase, say for a few days to a week? Seeing as every aircraft has is own "feel" it would give the customer the ability to try it out before deciding to purchase to see if fits them. I think it would cut down on some of the complaints from those who buy a module and then complain that the flight model is poor or features are missing/glitchy and then futilely demand a refund by allowing them to 'try before they buy'. Any thoughts?

by that token microsoft fsx, xplane 10, etc... would also have demo for their payware aircrafts from A2A simulations, SSG, Jardesign etc?? I guess not. Plus, if you do get a demo that defeats the purpose of being intrigued about how it behaves. Also, the forums are here so you can see videos, complaints, performance, praises, etc, which is fair from a buyer point of view.

Its up to the community to decide how a module is good or bad and share their findings here.

To me, what you're asking is like being in a confectionery shop asking the seller to try out each of their chocolates, with the caveat that you can just try them all and just say "I'll come back later"..

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

of all games out thier, i consider DCS the one that dont need a demo. Because you can "test" the performance and general Gameplay with the free modules

'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction.

I have purchased a fair number of aircraft for this game and I have a few had there been a demo I would never purchased.

The game does not in anyway represent the uniqueness of each aircraft.

There is no reason I can see why any module could not be released as a demo imo, given that each one relies on a serial number that can be withdrawn after a given amount of time using the existing system.
