Hi all,

have just recently downloaded DCS world 1.5 but am having my system crashing.

I have a i7 950 cpu, 12 GB of memory and a GTX 970 graphics card.

I have attached a log, so if anyone can tell me what the problem maybe that would be great.

Hi

 

your graphics card driver seems to be resetting. this could be a corrupt driver

 

Many of us use this tool it will remove any trace of your driver.

 

You can then download and install the latest driver for your card. It should help

Thanks Bignewy. I downloaded the tool and uninstalled driver in safe mode as tool suggested. It did remove the driver but came up with an error when doing the registry part of it. Did use a registry cleaner though afterwards.

I downloaded the latest driver from the Nvidia website and tried DCS world any way.

Crashed when doing the cockpit tutorial. Have added a log again but still think it's graphics card related but could be wrong.

Have you tried a cleanup and repair? a guide is in my signature

 

remove any user modifications if you have any

 

 

make sure DCS is running with admin permissions in windows.

 

and what antivirus are you using?

have not done a cleanup and repair but will follow the guide in your signature and will let you know if it rectifies the problem.

No mods installed, AVG free is the Antivirus that I am using.

login and put a support ticket in https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/

 

include your dcs.log dxdiag and process list for the support team and they will try to assist you
