Force Trim vs. Pilot Trim

Hi guys,

 

There are 2 different key commands I can bind:

 

- Force Trim

- Pilot Trim

 

 

Can someone explain the difference and when to use what?

Force trim is a toggle switch on the center console that energizes the actual pilot trim system. Without it turned on, you wont be able to recenter your joystick when you hit the trim button. Yes, you will need to activate force trim before you can use pilot trim, and you turn it on during the engine prestart.
