Starlight Posted December 18, 2006 Author Posted December 18, 2006 I doubt the ejection seats work. I hope it doesn't unless they have also some trick to avoid contact with the car roof ;)
S77th-GOYA Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 If there's no det cord around the sun roof, it's for a girlie.
hitman Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I hope it doesn't unless they have also some trick to avoid contact with the car roof ;) Ahh but the doors should blow right off. :)
sp0nge Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Ahh but the doors should blow right off. :) Horizontal Ejection - Lol I can imagine.... Weeeeeeeeeeeee...umphh - into a nearby building :D Is breaking the laws of gravity illegal? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Guest IguanaKing Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Ahh but the doors should blow right off. :) On a Ford Fiesta? Nah...they'd just fall off on their own. :D
hitman Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I can think of a few mopar and mitsubishi vehicles too...most fords are like this though. Dont believe everything Toby Keith advertises.
Guest IguanaKing Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Heh...my dad test-drove a Ford Fiesta in the 70's and his assessment was "What a piece of s**t!!!". That meant it must have been REALLY bad, since the man swore by his 1973 Pinto.
hitman Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 lol@ pinto. That was my first car...well technically it was a 77 mustang 2...powered by a 72 pinto engine. 4 banger. Moved on up to a '65 mustang with 351 cleveland. No more fords for me after my Exploder bit the big one though.
Guest IguanaKing Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 My first 3 cars were Fords. A 1972 Mercury Comet with a 302, a 1972 Mustang with a 351 Cleveland, and a 1970 Mustang with a 302. Those were all good cars. My first and last Chevy was a 1991 Camaro that threw a rod at 2000RPM with only 60,000miles on the engine. The new engine failed its emission test every friggin' year. Bought my first Mopar 8 years ago (a Jeep), and not a thing has gone wrong with it the whole time I've had it. It just keeps going no matter how many times I bury it in a mudhole. :D
hitman Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 i beat a camaro in euless tx one lonely night on main street...doing 150 in a 20 mph zone, lol... Then there was this street behind DFW that I would always drag race at 2am when I had it. Few weeks later...the front tire just fell off along with the rest of the brake, drun and all...flying past me on the road before I realized what it was. Had to rebuild the drivers front end from scratch. Shoulda stuck to chevy.
Willy p. Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 LMAO!! That is a pure unadulterated example of people with waaaaaaay to much time on their hands…My first car was a 74 pea-green soup pinto!! And it rocked! 44th_Willy p. 187 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://44thvfw.org
Starlight Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 Well, the first F-104s had downward ejection seats. Imagine if they were implemented in this car... :D My first car (I'm Italian) was a '83 Fiat Ritmo, received from my grandpa in 1996. I recently knew that it was exported also to USA back in the 80s but with the name of "Strada" because "Ritmo" means something else ;) BTW "Ritmo" in Italian is just "Rhythm" ;) more or less this car http://www.ritmo-world.com/ http://www.retromobil.ro/galerie_foto/veh_rcr/poze_membri/4/popescu.ritmo.jpg of this color: http://www.mercadolibre.com.ec/jm/img?s=MEC&f=2076974_9738.jpg&v=O :D
