Wrong French controls layout

apologyze for my bad english..

 

dcs 1.5 last update

i can't assign to fire 0.303 cal to one stage trigger (warthog tm) and canon to stage 2 or even attempt to fire canon only btn2 on joy.

 

assigning 0.303 cal to a btn and you'll get canon & 0.303 cal together...??:cry:

 

It seems something been reverted in the controls....:music_whistling:

Just checked mine and it seems ok for me.

 

 

Try a fresh set of controls, by deleting the SpitfireLFMkIX folder in saved games

 

 

C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\SpitfireLFMkIX

 

once deleted restart and remap your controls

controls layout translation

 

:) well...the problem is the "French layout translation"

 

detente mitrailleuse (machine guns trigger) (Ralt+space) in

 

game you'll get Canon only.

 

 

detente canons+mitrailleuses( guns&canons trigger) (space) i

 

game you'll get Guns only.

 

detente canons (canons trigger)(? no keyboard indication) in

 

game you'll get Canons+Guns)

copying my spitfire inputs from my open beta save files, and that's ok.

But i can't remember how i bound the "engine RPM lever" cause it doesn't exist in my axis commands ? and the magic is my left throttle(warthog) use it in game and it work's....Weird....any idea ?:thumbup:

Select "Fire machine guns" - press the trigger until fist stage and HOLD.

 

Still holding trigger pressed hit OK and select "Fire cannons", now press the trigger until second stage.

 

Click OK. Done. ;)

 

When press until first stage = fire machine guns.

When press until second stage = fire machine guns + cannons.

all problems about the french Spitfire controls layouts came from wrong code

since last update (DCS\l10n\fr\LC_MESSAGES\input.mo) i get a new one on

checksix fr forum. And it rocks now. :)

 

It was not problem to link guns or canons to the joystick,it was malfunctions coded in file, so the rpm engine analog fonction vanished too.

 

The fr input.mo will be corrected in new update.:thumbup: THANKS TO ALL

Wrong French controls layout

 

Same problems about the french Spitfire controls layouts came from wrong code

since last update 1.5.7 stable as like 2.1.2 (DCS\l10n\fr\LC_MESSAGES\input.mo)

 

for example : trims rudder Left & Right -:) the "inputs" should be inverse...
