Heh...the AWACS systems shown in that video are only what the US military has allowed us to see. So...yup...they're real. Beyond that...use your imagination. ;)

seen it at Dulles Airport Smithsonian Museum. Boy is it a joy for only being like 20 minutes long!

The video is about an hour, have it stored on my drive...

Edit- its 48min 27 sec.

Yup, DVD or IMAX, its an awesome video. I know a lot of people like to rip it apart for its "inaccuracies", but in the end its a fun military aviation video. The video footage is excellent.

The DVD was my first experience with HDDVD, very sharp indeed. I wish I had been able to see it in the IMAX theatre though. The aerial photography is beautiful.

since when is this available on HD-DVD?

can you point me to where you got it, if its available in this format I want to buy it.

I've seen this movie! Amazing. But those AWACS systems shown in the video are just unbielevable. Are they for real?

Nope. Just CGI, special effects. Same with cockpit footage, HUD and cockpit is lame CGI because cameras were installed under the plane.

Anyway there's some great HD footage.

Look for Speed & Angels now.

I've seen it and it is a wonderful movie, but i did not like that when he had the dogfight between the F-16 agressor from the red team they show a cockpit of an F-15 from the inside and from the outside it was an F-16 agressor, don't they know we fly the Eagle in Lock-On and we know how does an F-15 cockpit looks like?

:pilotfly:

A good movie for the whole family.
