Luftwoller Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Hi All, I've returned to DCS after a rather long Hiatus. On returning I found I needed a fairly monstrous D/L in order to get things running. That's where the problems have arisen. On starting the game (I have a 3 screen setup with Nvidia surround running them) the middle and right screen were all that showed the game. The left screen showed the desktop. I dug a bit on the forums and made my left most screen the dominant screen. That made the game look right. I started the Huey module and the picture looked way out being, what looked like, stretched left to right. The resolution was right though, 5760x1080 so I guessed the aspect ratio was wrong. So I changed that to 5.3 and that's where the trouble started. On the opening screen the image is huge. So huge that I cant access the start button to make any changes to the game. Please help me with this. It would really help if an English speaking person could help me through TeamSpeak or similar, Thanks in advance, ...Guy Helicopters!! Never trust anything that screws itself into the air!
Mr_Burns Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 You have to delete a file in your save game folder, I think it's options.lua. It's not in the game folder it's in you user folder.
pimp Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Check Saved Games folder --> DCS folder --> Config folder --> options.lua i9 14900k @5.6GHz NZXT Kraken |Asus ROG Strix Z790 A-Gaming | Samsung NVMe m.2 990 Pro 2TB | 64GB DDR5 6400MHz EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra | PiMAX CRYSTAL LIGHT | HOTAS Warthog | Saitek Flight Pedals

VR is simply x1000 better than the flat, shrunken world we see through the wittle pixie-wixie windows that are monitors.
