LADYDI Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 When I start playing with mig21, it just mysteriously starts to turn left and so far there is nothing I can do because I've tried everything, like checking the configuration of the controls or do not have a compensator? Can someone please help me with this problem, thanks.
kelpie Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 For me the 21 will pull to the left as soon as I start taxiing. Push the wheel breaks and use the rudder to make the plane veer right and you should be able to taxi straight. ;) Modules: Owned: P-51D, F/A-18C, AJS-37, NTTR, F-5E, M-2000C, Bf 109, Fw 190 D-9, F-86F, Mig-15Bis, A-10C, Combined Arms, Mi-8Mtv2, UH-1H, Black Shark 2, Mig-21Bis, FC3, F-14A/B, Mig-19, Spitfire, JF-17, Persian Gulf Would Like to See: Mig-29K, Su-24, Mig-25, J-8II, J-10 , Tornado __________________ Specifications: Windows 10 64Bit, i7-7700K 4.2Ghz, GTX 1080, 16Gb RAM, T.flight Stick X
LADYDI Posted July 23, 2017 Author Posted July 23, 2017 Thank you very much Kelpie, but when i starting to fly the mig-21 start to turn left why it do that.
razo+r Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Thank you very much Kelpie, but when i starting to fly the mig-21 start to turn left why it do that. Centered stick? Asymetrical loadout? Gun ammo full? The gun is a bit to the side so there's a small inbalance of weight in the mig.
javelina1 Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Asymetrical loadout? My first thought as well. LADYDI Posted July 23, 2017 Author Posted July 23, 2017 no guys, i did try with empty loadout and then the same old situation
Chrinik Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Press Shift+Enter I believe (or maybe ctrl+enter...) to activate the control input visualizer, this should tell you if one of your inputs is giving an erronious command, like maybe your rudder pedals are stuck. Then check the mission settings if there is any wind. Lastly, post a video, it´s really hard to diagnose a "pull to the left" without knowing what it looks like. Britchot Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Is it turning left on the ground during taxi or rolling left in flight? If it's turning left on the ground, take a look at your outside view (F2) and see if the nose wheel is canted. The nose wheel is hardly ever centered when I initially load up in the MiG and I have to use the differential brakes to get it going straight 9/10 times.
