Holliwood Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 hi everyone, when i either load a profile or create it and i assign a keyboard binding to a button on the hotas and i go test it i always receive multiple inputs of the same control instead of having one press one command. this is very annoying as it is very very hard to control anything within the sim. i try to post a video i sent to the logitech support. https://youtu.be/zyNB77cWQgI any help would be awesome?:helpsmilie: Thanks, Fabio
Holliwood Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 Anyone could even think of any possible solution?
Perfesser Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Try looking at the keyboard settings in your Windows control panel. See if changing the "character repeat" delay and rate has any effect.
Holliwood Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 I tried, but unfortunately either would introduce a too big of a delay and had to keep buttons very much pressed or no change at all... it is very strange and peculiar unfortunately... did several clean installs and nothing... the logitech support doesnt even bother answering..
HiJack Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 This is a Windows 10 driver initialisation problem that the Saitek drivers have. I believe the best thing to do is download a new set of drivers from Saitek site. Uninstall the current drivers with a uninstall utility that removes files, Windows 10 does not remove everything so you need a 3rd party tool. Then when you have everything uninstalled you can install the new drivers BY SELECTING RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR (right click the installation file).
Holliwood Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 I could clearly see being a software/driver related problem. At the moment i have the logitech ones installed that dont even do a clean installation on top of the ones from saitek and the ones if a faulty x55 i had to return lately before acquiring the x56. Any software recommendations to clean up completely everything?
HiJack Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 I use Revo Uninstaller but I'm not satisfied with the last updates of this software. Recommend searching for compare of products ....
HiJack Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 PS! If you have not done so yet you should try a new install and make sure to select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR!
Holliwood Posted July 31, 2017 Author Posted July 31, 2017 Finally home...and unfortunately nothing of the solutions worked... still the same problem... can only program it inside the sim but it wont take any of the rotaries or speedbrake slide...
HiJack Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 You should check the USB specifications on your mainboard. If all external connectors are USB3 then nothing will work. I guess your mainboard have internal USB2 connectors that is not used. Get a USB2 backplate and connect them, then use these connectors for old equipment.
Holliwood Posted July 31, 2017 Author Posted July 31, 2017 I mean I plugged them in either in usb 2.0 and 3.0 in the past and nothing works... doesnt change a thing... I suppose the only solution would be to format but i don't even wanna think about it... so the choice is between having it handicapped in game or return it to amazon...
mancebosk8 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 If you use the fanaleds program, you will have to close it while using the x56, as it bugs the macro function and keeps repeating non-stop when you press the macro function on the keyboard.
