I started flying the rift this week and holy crap! What an experience, I just sat in the hog and shook my head in disbelief at how stunning it is! I mean I’ve heard good things but truly wasn’t expecting to be that good! My only problem is I’m suffering quite badly with motion sickness which is crazy because I can handle being chucked around in helos and aircraft with work. I managing about 20-30 mins closing eyes whilst turning has helped, but in the end I’m usually a sweaty mess and needing a lie down, apart from the eye thing anyone else got any good tips for motion sickness?
Get a ginger pills and eat one 30 mins before fly, It helped me alot. As others says it disappears with time.

As others have noted, you'll get over it in shortly. I felt wheezy the first few times out too... But in short order, you gain your VR "legs", and all is well. I now "strap in", and never have an issue with the motion sickness.

LOL, Jab I know what you mean :megalol: I have a Lil fan that sits next to my pit just for those flights..:pilotfly::joystick: Welcome to club.

Aw, come on. You don't need a little fan on your desk. Every helicopter has a big fan on it to keep everyone cool. I know this because when that big fan stops, everyone starts to sweat:pilotfly:

When all else fails, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!

I got lucky, I guess...never got the feeling of motion sickness from second 1 of VR.

I've also never been motion sick in my life, so I guess I'm lucky in that regard.

My experience with the Oculus: with WWII airplanes VR is a unique experience especially dogfighting. With the A10c, the bottom left and right panels are almost impossible to reach and read. Another strange thing is the vertical line in CCRP is not aligned with the target but it's moved to left or right, until approaching the target and the line begins to align, forcing you to bank to correct it.

I've also noticed this too, which is why I believe I don't get as many kills with CBU-105s like I did in 2D. I usually can get 6-7 kills with one CBU-105 in CCRP mode but now it's only ~3.

Didn't notice such issue myself.

As for the left and right panel there is a mod which makes the font slightly bigger and easy to read.
