Considering getting Argo: how difficult is it?

I had quite a good time with the stock UN campaign some time ago and Argo seems like the logical follow on... but from my readings I fear it might be too challenging/difficult?

 

Could you guys comment on that?

A fellow said in another thread: "..if fhe default stock campaign was for beginner-intermediate, Argo is for intermediate-advanced..."

 

On the whole campaign (15 missions), there are maybe 3-4 difficult missions from the feedbacks I have read.

 

I think it's true, that is not all the missions are difficult but some turn out to be challenging or very challenging.

 

Personally I'm at mission #6. I had to refly some missions, because of my stupidity or lack of skill but not because of difficulty. And actually there was 1 difficult mission that I had to refly 3-4 times.

 

I'm currently learning to fly the Huey but I have previous experience with the Mi-8.

Thanks Simicro for your feedback. I had already read the review from Helisimmer, but not the other one (actually the unrealistic payloads was the other point refraining me a bit from the purchase).

Seeing that those very hard missions are limited and with the bonus points sale I just got it. Even if I can only do 10 of the missions I guess it will be a good deal. :)

Thanks for the purchase. Yes it's true that the campaign's goal is to get you in the next level after the UN campaign.

 

There are missions that are difficult but you should feel rewarded once you manage to complete them.

I had the same fear. But playing the campaign made me a better Huey pilot though. There were 2 missions that took me a huge amount of attempts, but like Greg said - in thr end it's rewarding when you manage to finish it. I'm sure you'll not regret the purchase.
