Rex854Warrior Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 The video quality isn't great, i'll film one in 4k at high bit rate and report back to see if it truely disapears :). [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
lemoen Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 It doesn't disappear but it is quite hard to see when you can only see it from behind / in front. You can see the Mirage on that picture you posted. The fact that its almost the same colour as the background makes it even harder.

I doubt that 4k will show something that can not be seen. ...You can see the Mirage on that picture you posted. ... 036sec.png? Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Neither did I really: I just saw it blend into the background momentarily. microvax Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Its the MPEG compression. Watch it first on 2160p or 1440p even if you just have a 1080p panel. Flanker visible. Then watch it in 720p, the flanker kinda flickers in and out when it crosses the clouds. Now watch it in 480p, the flanker fades out even against the sky. Thats why I upscale all my content to 4K even if I only record in 1440p, because even if someone doesnt have a 4k panel, the detail will be greater because the compression doesn't nuke the dots as much because its simply moar pixels. :) MPEG isnt lossless, so you will loose image detail and a plane against a similar colour background is a minor detail for the MPEG compression algorithm at the aggressive settings Youtube runs it. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] *unexpected flight behaviour* Oh shiii*** ! What ? Why ? What is happening ?
