Has anyone ever seen a bug like this before ?

I’m sure that it’s so weird, an opportunity of a lifetime to see it (I’ve ever seen it 3-4 times before but not fully like this)

At that time, I was on the Su-34 engaging 2 Georgian Su-25Ts. One of them was crashed into the ground because he flew too low (I don’t know why, it’s possibly an AI bug, I’ll tell about it in another thread). The remaining Su-25T tried to run away but he was in the center of my plane’s HUD, readied to destroy him by cannon.... but ....all of a sudden something unusual happened on the HUD, i found the Su-25T was lengthen unusually. I didn’t believe in my eyes, brought F2 view on the enemy I took some photos of a visual bug/ AI bug:

The Su-25T looked like being inflated, like a plump monster and then he escaped from my sight. He was still there but....he was under the ground (to avoid me :D ??? ) NO CRASH, I didn’t know he was taxiing or flying underground (if CameraTerrainRestriction is enabled I might see him under the ground). The Su-34’s radar could track the enemy but I couldn’t destroy him. In this case he’d be there forever, never float, no crash, still moving. Perhaps his altimeter got some problems, it’s not correct. I don’t know why the altitude indicator showed 207m and speed = 667->976kmph even though he’s vanished under ground.

Do you think the sentence “Sometimes the ground is the sky” is true in this case ? :D :D

Oh my God!

:surprise: I don't know that the advance flight model of the Su-25 can manage that!

Its not a bug! It is an on aspect of the special theory of relativity (Lorentz transformation)!:smartass:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_relativity

It says that when an objekt is travelling near the speed of light, outstanding observers will see it shortened.

So the only bug i can see is that the speed indicator dont show up right - but at

a speed near 300.000 Km/s the speed indicator would probably go wrong or even broken.

So don't worry ! It's all relativ. :megalol:

Damn... And they were specificaly instructed not to engage "warp drives" no matter the gravity of situation...

Would you be kind enough not to record next time please?

We could trade some engines like those if you wish ;)

And I thought that those airframes weren't designed to withstand such stress. :pilotfly: Ah well, russians tend to amaze us with their technology every now and then :D

It is not a bug... you angaged one of the new prototypes, they have extra strong engines, the acceleration is so strong that sometimes make that effect on the plane jajajajajaja
