Cleaned and repaired files, still hangs at mission start and control issues galore

I have found out how to clean and repair my non steam install but it didn't appear to fix the problems.

Must be a windows 10 thing.

Clicking mission goes to the loading screen which hangs forever, not my m2 ssd drives fault.

SU 27 ,no throttle control in the start up training mission and the su 25t has no trim controls in the start up training mission.

Bugs galore.

Falcon BMS ,a free mod, is stable as a rock.

Would it better to revert to DCS World 1.2 or is this a Windows 10 thing with this sim?

Hi

attach your dcs log folder zipped it will give us some clues, also let us know you system specification, windows 10 works fine with DCS.

You could also rename your dcs folder in saved games and allow dcs to generate a new one when it restarts.

example C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS

Oh ty Bignewy ,didn't know about that folder.

Deleting settings.lua in the mission editor folder.

Ok ,that fixed the mission problem ty again.

Are there any other files in that folder I can delete to get the training missions working properly so my throttle works again in the su27 and the trim in the su25t?

when you say missions working again, do you mean because you have FC3 and individual FC3 aircraft Installed?

My advice for the control issues would be to delete your inputs for each effected aircraft and redo them when DCS starts

example C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\su-27

I decided to delete my whole user folder for the sim and start again.

I just did everything ,I deleted every category in the "all" tab under my Ch hotas headings and also the "axis settings" tab and reassigned axis for every single ac to make sure of no conflicts.

When I started the fc3 su 27 training, start up mission, the throttle still does not work.

It does when flying a normal mission though.

Not at home, so I can't point out its location. But, if you can, open the training mission in the Mission Editor and re-save it. Sometimes that fixes oddball issues like these.
