What should I do with my old surround sound system?

I have recently installed a new Pioneer 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos Home Theatre System.

 

I am currently contemplating what to do with my old gear - Onkyo AV receiver, Kef satellite speakers and active subwoofer.

 

I have been reading some old threads which have still left me wondering if multi-channel surround sound is fully implemented in DCS?

 

Should I simply sell my old kit or would I be missing a trick?

 

Does anyone know if it would be worth me hooking this up to my DCS rig?

problem solved - very nice chap popped up on ebay, asked for a demo and snapped it up in a flash - good result :)

for the longest time, I've had my old Yamaha A/V receiver setup to my rig. When not in my Rift, I use a 5.1 setup. Nothing like hearing a 150W sub-woofer.... :-)

I'd be using it with the rift, too. The surround sound *should* follow your head movements. Haven't had a chance to test with DCS, but it works in Elite Dangerous, so I'd like to think it has been coded for DCS, too.
