ebabil Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Since the new kuznetsov has been delayed and new su-33 can't take off properly with fuel and loadout, it would be good if we had temporarily a key to activate and release virtual wheel chocks for a better acceleration. Esac_mirmidon Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 If you respect the weight limits, like the real ones, you can take off without any problem. Dont exceed the take off weight limits and you will operate safely. And remember to use the extra afterburner mode when you are close to the Max weight. " You must think in russian.." ebabil Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 well.. those limits are very limited. very few fuel and some missiles. assigning a key can make us carry some more missiles FC3 | UH-1 | Mi-8 | A-10C II | F/A-18 | Ka-50 III | F-14 | F-16 | AH-64 | Mi-24 | F-5 | F-15E| F-4| Tornado Persian Gulf | Nevada | Syria | NS-430 | Supercarrier // Wishlist: CH-53 | UH-60 Youtube MS FFB2 - TM Warthog - CH Pro Pedals - Trackir 5
Esac_mirmidon Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 I dont understand why you want to take off over the Max weight. There are real weight limits for the Su-33 that are the same for the DCS simulation. The Su-33 cant take off over that weight, no matter if the chocks are used. Just keep the Su-33 below the Max weight, the same as the real thing, and you will be able to take off safely. If you need more weapons reduce fuel weight and use the tanker to refuel after take off. ebabil Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 i know there are weight limits and i don't want to take off full weight. but i think this helps and more realistic. since this feature also exists in real life, i don't understand why are you so against my this suggestion. game forces me to take off from the shortest path and plane can't accelerate, it doesn't crash but recovers from very critical altitude. rogonaut Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 those wheelchocks would be awesome - ofcourse.
Esac_mirmidon Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Im not against chocks. Is a nice feature that allow you accelerate to full afterburner without using brakes. But you have said the Su-33 cant take off properly with fuel and loadout and this is incorrect. If you are at or below Max take off weight the take off is perfectly fine. Just use brakes, extra afterburner and thats all. I have tested the Max weight from front and rear take off position and is possible and safe everytime. Even if you set some head wind and a moving carrier you can even take off over Max real weight. So chocks? Of course yes. I agree. But there is not a single problem taking off inside the Max weight values right now. " You must think in russian.." Crowman Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Hi All Speaking of wheel chocks I think would be a great addition to have the option of wheel chocks available on all aircraft, as mentioned would allow for full power run ups whilst checking systems etc. Chilliblast, ASUS P8-Z77-V Pro, I7 3770K@3-5GHz, 16GB Corsair PC-3 12800 DDR3 @1600MHz, MSi GTX 1080 8GB, Creative SBZ, Logitech LT Z906 5.1, ASUS 24"Monitor 1080 60Hz,120GB SSD, 1TB SSD, 2TB HDD, 4TB HDD, Corsair CX 750W PSu, Win 10 Home Prem 64bit, TM Warthog, TM T Flight Pedals.
