dresoccer4 Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 'ello. was wondering if the TACAN wasn't working or if i'm doing it wrong. can't seem to get it to work. i put in the frequency, select enter, then select on/off. it shows up for a minute or so on the left side of the cockpit, then all of those lights go out. no range or direction shows up. thanks! noisy_lightning Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 (edited) The upper left screens (Option Display Unit / ODU) with buttons are meant to go out after a specific time when not used. For me the Tacan is working fine. Press tcn Dial up number Change x or y on ODU Press t/r on ODU Press on The Tacan will be now showing in the navigation page (EHSD) . The section in the pocket guide (pg 50) is better at explaining it all in full. Edited November 30, 2017 by noisy_lightning

noisy_lightning Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 It's meant to. I guess to ensure quicker selection or accidently selection for the next change a while later?

Flamin_Squirrel Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Make sure the field you're flying to actually has TACAN and not RBSN.
