I'm not telling you not to try, but I would wait for it just to come in an update (likely next one IMO). That being said, I'm with ya. I saw the update log for 1.5.8 and was a little salty they weren't for 2.2 as well.

Side note, and really just a hunch, but I feel like the weird way of updates these past couple weeks (Beta, then Alpha, but no release ver. update) has something to do with getting ready for the merge.

They have been updating that way since the alpha came out...is it a year or two ago? This happened all the time with the Mirage.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

My mistake, the AV-8B is the only reason I downloaded the Beta, thus why I'm just now seeing the full picture of how updates jump around the versions.

With the release version and 2.X downloaded, I'm use to some applying to one but not the other, but this is the first time I've personally dealt with a particular modules updates hitting different versions at different times. My comment was more directed towards the lack of an update coming to the 1.5 release version even after a week or two in beta and alpha, but again, this may be normal like you have said, and I just may not have noticed.

According to https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ release and beta are both on the same version now, though... So it seems they did push an update to release as well.

Yes, thanks, managed to get it, but is there a way to just take the new green MPCDs from 1.5 without the HUD?

Cant't remember if the first time I tried was with the old hud. Anyway I modified some luas to remove the RWR symbol for the hud wich was bugged, later I will try the attack modes to check if are working properly.

You just have to copy the files found in:

1. CoreMods/aircraft/AV8BNA/Textures

2. Mods/aircraft/AV8BNA/Cockpit and Textures

This will give you the green MPCDs, but introduces a bug wit the HUD. Fixing this bug exceeds my skills, so mybe someone more knowledgeable can post some JSGME ready files... or just wait till the next update for 2.x

Doesnt the hotfix for the 1.5.8 work in 2.2 ?

Edit : just tried, works for the gun and CCRP/CCIP lines but the RWR lines are all together at the top. Couldnt solve it and anyway it messes up the integrity check so better wait next patch.
