masterkey66 Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Flown Lock On for about 3 years and previously flown Flanker 2.5 Now for Lock On Flamming Cliffs 1.12a that I curently run on my machine: I have previously flown with an Saitek X45 and profiles were easy to find on the net and of good quality. Now I've got an X52 Pro and Saitek Pro rudder peddals. I have also Track IR 2 (unfortunately the new ordered Track Ir 4 pro was dead broken at arrival - I have to return it and got a new one) Anyway Track IR2 works fine with Saitek X52 as with the older X45. I need an already designed profile for X52 Pro because I have little time to spare to program with SST - so I need the .DAT file Any profile yet ? I know that X52 Pro is relatively new on the market. Anyone using this configuration? I have two icons in the bottom right of my screen. When I am enabling the profile it is neccessary to enable for both (flight system and rudder peddals)?
bogusheadbox Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 There is no difference in programming the buttons on the x52 pro and normal x52. There are plenty of profiles available for download here and on lockonfiles. However, i would suggest you make your own as it will be natural to the way you want things. Making a profile is A) not hard and B) not too time consuming. Give it a go. Its a blast
Spad Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 You are better of programming a profile for yourself. I tried using one done by another flyer and I didnt like it. It only took me about an hour to finalize it. I now have mode 1 for nav n general flight controls, mode 2 for a2a and mode 3 for a2g.:)

andyfoot Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 give me your email on a PM and I'll send you my profile, it's a work in progress and I use it with TIR4, it works good for me, but everyone has their own taste so you'll probably want to change some of the programming.
Aeroscout Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Make your own, it'll be much better as it will be made specificaly for YOU and will help you in combat. Do you know what the big difference btwn the X52 and the Por is? I have the X52 so I would just like to know what i'm missing, if any thing Do the X52 and the Pro use the same file type? I assume they do. DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices
andyfoot Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Masterkey66, did you get my profile? I sent it a couple of days ago and wondered how you were getting on with it.
Ramstein Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 I too am installing an Saitek X52 Pro and Saitek pedals, . My old Saitek X36USB and some crappy old pedals just totally wore out after 7 years. So I also need new profiles for my flight sims. I am grabbing new profiles and seeing if they are close to what I like. Any more links for profiles are welcome.. thanx.. :megalol: Ramstein.. http://virtualairforce.byethost11.com/ ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI (trying to hang on for a bit longer) 55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR
