F-18c + new carrier bundle?

Hi!

I'm very happy with pre-purchase announcement, no complain with starting price (I had over 5 yers to save my money for this :thumbup:)

BTW It was posted somewhere by Wags that in the future it will be an option to buy the Hornet + the new advanced carrier in bundle.

I'd love to pre-purchase now, but I would like also to know if in the near future something will change as well.

If can't be any answer... well... "Shut up and take my money now! "

The Carrier will be a separate purchase initially. If you wait for the sales, you might get a bundle deal for them both, but I predict that will not be until well into 2018.

I just preordered and then saw that the carrier will be available in a bundle? Do we get the bundle discount on the carrier if we already pre-ordered the F-18 on its own? I feel that us pre-orderers should get the carrier for free (like the Nevada with the A-10C), you are making us wait 6 months before we get the Hornet, a free ship must be easier than an entire free map!

Chances are no, there will not be a bundle discount later that you can take advantage of while pre-purchasing the Hornet today.

No, just no.

 

NTTR started as a community project that would get bundled with the A-10C. It was not originally an ED project. ED took over it and then used it as a test bed to create the new terrain engines. ED could have easily released NTTR with only slight modifications to the Community Project long ago and not based off of the new engine.

 

ED decided to do the best thing and we are all seeing the fruits of their labor with the numerous terrains we have and on the horizon. Not too mention all of the improvements over the LOMAC days of terrain.

Does anyone know if the free updated carrier that may come out will at least have a working IFLOLS? Or is the OLS only going to be part of the advanced carrier?

The "free updated carrier" will most likely be a slightly modified CVN Stennis. We haven't seen too many details on this "gal" so I would constrain your one hype and limit your expectations.

 

My, personal opinion, is that only the paid-for-module will have all of the things you are looking for. Again, if you set your expectations as such, you will only be content or pleasantly surprised later on.
