Hello ED,

I was browsing my Modules on the website and got aware about all the money I put on my particular Hobby. In this special matter I wonder about a major issue that regards the DCS Website. As far as I can estimate it, so it should be possible for a hacker to crack my account and steal all my worthy Modules and thus my invested money. Wouldnt it be possible to implement a 2 step verification Process to the website in order to avoid such a thing?

I´m thinking about the easiest way which is sending a code to my smartphone or my emailadress to get access, thus a hacker can crack my Account but will nonetheless not have access to my Account. Another solution would be the google authenticator app to provide respective security.

There´re many websites around already that provide that type of security. Steam, Uplay, PayPal are good examples and many more. Have you already been thinking about that or are you considering it in general?

Thanks and kind regards

Memphis

I hope that I'll not have to provide my phone number. That would be a step too far. Don't mind a double verification through an email though.

most places that use verification for security use apps like 2FA or Authy

I imagine it would be around that sort of thing, and Usually 2 stage verification is optional, but we will have to wait and see what ED come up with.

sounds great, do you have the option to remove the poll again? I really wont like to have it still running under these new circumstances.
