Worse, it causes your plane to take on the weight of a seemingly endless supply of fuel, without actually being able to burn, dump, drop or otherwise get rid of it! XD I've got a video kicking around somewhere of me testing that issue out. I was at 95% throttle, pulling 14 degrees of AoA, just to keep up with and stay connected to the tanker.
